Anthony Ditka

A founding board member of Laura’s Light, Anthony Ditka brings more than 25 years of experience in public finance law, leadership, and community service. Named “Lawyer of the Year” for Public Finance Law in Pennsylvania by Best Lawyers® in 2016, 2022, and 2024, Anthony has served as bond counsel, underwriters’ counsel, and bank counsel for major public projects spanning education, infrastructure, and community facilities. He provides leadership at Dinsmore as the Office Managing Partner of the Pittsburgh office, a member of the firm’s Board of Directors, and a member of its Executive Committee. Under his guidance, the Pittsburgh office has more than doubled in size and welcomed several sophisticated practice groups. Recognized as “Mentor of the Year” by his colleagues, Anthony invests deeply in developing young attorneys and fostering a collaborative, people-first culture.

Anthony’s lifelong commitment to Pittsburgh extends well beyond his legal practice. In addition to his role with Laura’s Light, he serves as Treasurer and Trustee of PAAR (Pittsburgh Action Against Rape) and as a Trustee of the Chalfont Hall Foundation. His dedication to community development reflects his belief in building a stronger, more inclusive future for all.

Outside of work, Anthony enjoys the dining, sports, and cultural opportunities of Pittsburgh, as well as time with family and friends. Though he calls himself a golfer, those who have witnessed his game might disagree.
