A founding board member of Laura’s Light, Chris Soller brings deep legal and leadership experience to the organization. Most recently the Managing Director and Senior Managing Counsel of Litigation at The Bank of New York Mellon, he oversaw multibillion-dollar portfolios of first-party litigation matters. Previously, Chris was a partner at Reed Smith LLP. He holds a J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Committed to public service, Chris has long volunteered building homes in underserved Appalachian communities—an effort he began in high school and later led with groups of students, including his son, Matthew. Having witnessed Laura Ditka’s advocacy for women and children firsthand, Chris serves on the Board of Trustees to help carry forward her legacy and ensure her essential work continues.
